~ Our Policies ~
All of our puppies are examined by our veterinarian. They are dewormed with Safeguard (Panacur) bi-weekly until 8 weeks of age. They are preventatively dosed with Albon (a 3-day treatment) at 7 weeks. Our puppies are given a Parvo Vaccination between 5-6 weeks of age, Bordetella Vaccinations at 7 weeks and they receive their Distemper (plus Parvo) vaccination at 8 weeks of age. Their next Distemper and Bordetella vaccinations will be due at 12 & 16 weeks of age, along with their first Rabies Vaccinations. The 11, 14 & 17 week vaccination dates will be indicated on your puppy's Medical Health Record, so that families can continue their Medical care.
The buyer has 10 (ten) days after receipt of the puppy to have him/her examined by your Veterinarian or health guarantee is null and void. You must have proof of this visit within the time frame stated above. In the unlikely event that your puppy is found by your Veterinarian to be seriously ill within this time period, you may request an exchange upon returning the puppy to us. WE ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HONOR THIS REQUEST HOWEVER. We will refund money for a puppy IF we feel that it would be best NOT to allow a client to have another one of our puppies.
Puppies are sold on spay/neuter contracts only. All pet/companion puppies are required to be spayed around 12 months of age and Neutered at 24 months old. (Extensions can be granted to allow longer durations with natural hormones). NO BREEDING RIGHTS IS OFFERED from our bloodlines.
WE WILL NOT PERMIT BREEDING RIGHTS TO ANYONE, So please DO NOT EVEN ASK.
We require proof of spay/neuter certificate from your Vet, within the above mentions times above, of your puppy. It is important to have your puppy spayed or neutered! You will not receive your puppy's registration papers until we receive the proof or spay/neuter within that time frame. You will be required to sign a contract agreeing to this before you can take your puppy home.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell our puppies to anyone, at anytime, without a reason given.
We will not be responsible for contagious disease contracted after the puppy has left our care. Remember that Dog Parks and puppy training classes can cause health issues to your puppy, due to the high frequency of dogs. Also visiting another dog that does not have all of their required vaccinations and/or parasite control are a threat to your puppy's health.
We recommend that you keep your puppy in your home and private yard, until they complete their Distemper, Lyme, Canine Influenza, Bordetella and Rabies vaccination series at 16 WEEKS OF AGE. This way your baby is fully protected. Our biggest concern, however, is about the Parvo virus! PLEASE, protect your puppy and keep him/her away from any dogs that you do not know the vaccinations history of and the areas that they may have been in.
